Project Summary

The project led by Monash University and the Healthy Working Lives Research Group (Melbourne, Victoria, Australia) will bring together and analyse occupational safety, health and risk (OSH) data from multiple large international data collections. These include the World Risk Poll and data collected by leading NGOs, including the International Labour Organization and the WHO.

We will develop a new single-source global database of country-level OSH statistics and make this available via an interactive online dashboard. Ultimately, the project aims to improve OSH risk management, worker and community health by creating insights and knowledge to inform policy and practice.

This project runs for 12 months, from 1 October 2025 to 30 September 2026.
